How to Configure User-Managed Blocking for IP, Phone, Address, and Email

Configure user-managed blocking in Admoji to stop orders tied to suspicious IP addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses. Each block type prevents new orders and shipments from the matching data.

Step 1: Access the Blacklist System

  1. Navigate to Administration.

  2. Select Blacklist System.

  3. Review any existing blacklist entries before adding new ones.

Step 2: Create a Block Entry

  1. Click New in the top-right area (next to the search and import actions).

  2. The Add to Blacklist modal opens.

  3. Open the Type dropdown to see the available block types.

Step 3: Select the Block Type

  1. Choose the data point you want to block:

    • IP Address: Blocks orders from one exact IP address.

    • Phone Number: Stops orders from the listed phone number.

    • Address: Blocks orders shipping to the listed street address.

    • Email: Prevents orders from the listed email address.

    • Card BIN: Stops cards that start with the listed 6-digit BIN.

    • Countries: Rejects orders from a specific country (and optionally state); you select from dropdowns in the form. The State dropdown appears only when the selected country has states.

Step 4: Enter Block Details

  1. Provide the value you want to block (the field label matches the selected type).

  2. For IP Address, enter a single IPv4 address (e.g. 192.168.1.1). IP ranges are not supported — add one entry per address.

  3. For Phone Number, enter the number exactly as it appears on the customer's profile. The block only matches the same value, so a different format (spaces, dashes or country code) won't match.

  4. For Address, enter the street address line exactly as the customer types it (e.g. 123 Main St). Only the first line of the street address is compared, so don't add the city, state or postal code.

  5. For Email, enter the complete email address.

  6. For Card BIN, enter the first 6 digits of the card.

  7. For Countries, select a country from the first dropdown; if you want to block a specific state, select it from the State dropdown.

Step 5: Save the Block

  1. Confirm the type and value.

  2. Click Save.

  3. A success message confirms the block was added (Blacklist item added successfully). The modal closes automatically.
