How do I delete or de-activate a user account?

User accounts can be deleted in the Settings section. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Delete a User Account

  1. Click your account card (logo and account name) at the top of the sidebar to open Settings.

  2. Click the Users tab.

  3. Find the user you want to delete in the users table.

  4. Click the Delete icon (trash) in the Actions column next to the user.

  1. A confirmation dialog will appear — click Delete to confirm.

Can I Deactivate a User Instead?

Account users can't be deactivated. To take away a user's access without deleting them, remove their sections and campaigns:

  1. Click your account card (logo and account name) at the top of the sidebar to open Settings.

  2. Click the Users tab.

  3. Find the user and click the edit icon (pencil) in the Actions column.

  4. In the Section Access tab, set every section to No Access.

  5. In the Campaigns tab, uncheck every campaign.

  6. Click Save.

Note: Account Admins can only edit or delete users who are not admins. The Owner can't be deleted until the ownership is transferred (see How to Transfer Account Ownership). Users with the Affiliate role have no edit icon once they have joined, so to remove their access, delete them.
