How do I deactivate a processor or merchant account?

Processors cannot be permanently deleted once created, but they can be deactivated to prevent their use in transaction processing. This design ensures data integrity and maintains historical records.

How to Deactivate a Processor

  1. Click Go to E-commerce.

  2. Go to Merchants > Processors.

  3. Find the processor you want to deactivate in the processors list.

  4. Click the Edit Processor icon (pencil) in the Actions column.

  1. In the Options section, turn off the Active toggle.

  2. Click Save — the processor will now show as Cancelled in the list.

Reactivation Process

  1. Go to Merchants > Processors.

  2. Click Filters, check Show Cancelled Processors, and click Apply.

  1. Click the Edit Processor icon (pencil) for the cancelled processor.

  2. In the Options section, turn on the Active toggle.

  1. Click Save to reactivate the processor.

Note: Cancelled processors are hidden by default. To find them, click Filters, check Show Cancelled Processors, and click Apply.
