How does the Ship Amount field work under the product settings?

The Ship Amount field in product settings lets you add shipping charges directly to your product pricing. This amount is added to the total transaction and only applies to the initial transaction.

Initial Transaction Ship Amount

The Ship Amount field applies only to the initial transaction when a customer first purchases the product:

  • One-Time Application: The shipping amount is added only to the first purchase.

  • Total Calculation: The ship amount is added to the product price to determine the final total.

  • Customer Transparency: Customers see the total amount including shipping before completing the purchase.

  • Simplified Billing: No separate shipping transaction is created for the initial purchase.

Recurring Cycles and Shipping

For products with recurring billing cycles, each cycle has a Shippable toggle. When enabled, that cycle will trigger fulfillment and shipping for the customer. There is no separate Ship Amount field per cycle — shipping cost for recurring cycles is not configurable through the UI.
