Product Groups and Products work together to organize your catalog. Groups are containers, and Products are the individual items inside them. This structure helps with pricing, API integration, and managing your catalog.
Key Differences
What they are: Product Groups organize products into categories (like "Subscription Plans" or "One-time Products"). Products are the individual sellable items with prices, billing settings, and fulfillment options.
Pricing: Product Groups don't have prices. Only Products have prices, shipping costs, taxes, and billing cycles.
Billing: Products handle all billing. You set whether it's a one-time purchase or recurring subscription, plus payment schedules and retry settings.
Campaigns: Assign Product Groups to campaigns. When a group is assigned, all products in that group become available for that campaign.
