You can add merchant processors (MIDs — Merchant IDs) through the processor configuration in your e-commerce section. To add a new processor, go to Merchants > Processors, select the processor type tab (Credit Card or ACH), click New, and complete the form across the General, Settings, and Customer Service tabs.
How to Add a New Merchant Processor
Click Go to E-commerce.
Go to Merchants > Processors.
Select the Credit Card or ACH tab, then click New.
Understanding the Processor Configuration Tabs
Use the tabs at the top of the add/edit processor page to switch between:
General: Gateway selection and connection, optional Group, required Processor Name, and Options (Disable Order Description, Disable Phone, Disable Email, Active, Sticky).
Settings: Descriptor, required MID Number, required Currency, monthly limit, external ID, discount/reserve rates, fees, Transaction Mode, and Capture Delay (Days) when using Auth + Capture.
Customer Service: URL, Phone, Email, and Cancellation URL.
Step 4: Configure the General Tab
Select a Gateway from the dropdown, then click the edit icon next to it to open the Connect Gateway drawer and enter credentials.
Complete the gateway fields shown (labels depend on the gateway — e.g. API Login ID, Transaction Key, Test Mode, etc.). If the gateway supports it, click Validate to test the connection; on success the drawer closes and credentials are marked validated. Gateways that do not show Validate still require required fields to be filled; click Close when finished.
Enter a Processor Name (required). Optionally choose a Group or use + Add group to create one.
Under Options, set Disable Order Description, Disable Phone, Disable Email, Active, and Sticky as needed.
Step 5: Configure the Settings Tab
Click the Settings tab.
Enter your MID Number. This field is required for every processor.
Set Currency (required). Configure other fields as needed: Descriptor, Monthly Limit, External ID, Discount Rate, Reserve Rate, Monthly Fees, Transaction Fee, Chargeback Fee, and Alert Fee.
Under Transaction Mode, choose Default (Sale) or, for supported gateways only (NMI, Linked2Pay, FluidPay (new), Finix, MiloPay), Auth + Capture. When Auth + Capture is selected, optionally set Capture Delay (Days) (minimum 1; leave empty to disable auto-capture and require manual capture instead).
Step 6: Configure the Customer Service Tab (Optional)
Click the Customer Service tab. Enter URL, Phone (7–15 digits, optional leading
+), Email (valid format if provided), and Cancellation URL as needed.
Step 7: Save the Processor
When required fields are complete (gateway credentials per your gateway’s rules, validated where Validate is required, Processor Name, MID Number, and Currency), click Save. Use Back to return to the processors list without saving.
