The customer search functionality allows you to locate customer accounts and view their order history using various search criteria. The system provides both quick search options from the header and advanced search capabilities through comprehensive filtering options, enabling efficient customer management and data retrieval.
Step 1: Access Customer Search
Click Go to E-commerce.
Go to For Customers > Search.
Step 2: Use Quick Search (Header)
For quick lookups with a known identifier, use the Quick Search panel at the top of the page. It has three separate input fields — enter a value in any one and click Search:
Customer ID: Navigate directly to a customer by their unique ID.
Order ID: Navigate directly to a customer via a specific order.
Transaction ID: Navigate directly to a customer via a specific transaction.
Step 3: Use Advanced Search (Filters)
For comprehensive searches, use the advanced search filters on the main search page (For Customers > Search). The filters are organized into two sections:
Primary Filters (Always Visible):
Date Range: Select from predefined ranges (default: Last 90 Days) or custom dates.
First Name: Search by customer's first name.
Last Name: Search by customer's last name.
Email: Search by customer email address.
Additional Filters (click "Show more filters" to expand):
Phone Number: Customer phone number.
Last 4: Last 4 digits of the credit card.
BIN: Bank Identification Number (first 6 digits of the card).
ZIP: Customer ZIP code.
Keyword: Search for specific keywords in customer notes.
Campaign: Select specific campaigns to search within.
Step: Customer account type (Partial, Decline, Customer).
Type: Real Customers or Test Customers.
Recurrings: Active or Inactive recurring subscriptions.
Order ID: Search by a specific order ID.
Step 4: Execute Search
After configuring your search criteria:
Click Apply to execute the search with the selected filters.
Step 5: Review Search Results
The search results will display all customers that match your criteria:
Customer List: Table showing matching customers with relevant information.
Customer Profile Access: Click a customer name to open their complete profile.
Order Information: Click the orders icon (box icon) in the Actions column to view the customer's order details in a modal.
Step 6: Additional Search Features
The search system also provides:
Global Search: Text search across all customer data using the search bar above the results table.
Column Configuration: Customize which columns to display in results using the settings icon.
Sorting and Filtering: Organize results by different criteria.
Add New Customer: Quick access to create new customer accounts.
