The Declines Report breaks down declined transactions by reason, so you can identify patterns and take action. Results can be viewed grouped by Campaign or by BIN.
Step 1: Access the Report
- Click Go to E-commerce.
- Go to Reports in the main navigation.
- Select Declines.
Step 2: Apply Filters
- Date Range — select the period to analyze.
- Campaigns — filter by one or more campaigns.
- Products — filter by specific products.
- Affiliates / Sub-affiliates — filter by affiliate source.
- Rebill — filter by billing cycle (Initial, Cycle 1–9, or All).
Click Search to load the report.
Step 3: Switch Between Views
Use the tabs at the top of the results table to switch the grouping:
- By Campaign — shows declines grouped by campaign.
- By BIN — shows declines grouped by the card's BIN (Bank Identification Number).
Step 4: Read the Results
Each row represents a decline reason and includes:
- Decline Reason — the reason returned by the payment gateway.
- Initial # — number of declined initial transactions.
- Subscription # — number of declined subscription/rebill transactions.
- Total — combined count of all declines for that reason.
