How to Set Up the ConvesioPay Gateway

ConvesioPay is a payment gateway that also offers Apple Pay and Google Pay through its own checkout component. Admoji connects your ConvesioPay account for you: you sign in once from the processor form, and the keys and the webhook are set up automatically.

Note: Before you start, have your ConvesioPay account Email and Password, a name for the integration, and the domain of your checkout page.

Step 1: Create the Processor

  1. Go to Merchants > Processors.

  2. Select the Credit Card tab and click New.

  3. On the General tab, choose ConvesioPay from the Gateway dropdown.

  4. Click the edit icon next to the gateway to open the credentials drawer.

Step 2: Connect Your ConvesioPay Account

The drawer opens with a Connect Account section:

  • Email and Password — the login of your ConvesioPay account.

  • Integration Name — the name this connection gets inside your ConvesioPay account.

  • Domain — the domain of your checkout, as a full URL (for example, https://mystore.com).

  • Return URL (optional) — where ConvesioPay sends the customer back after paying. If you leave it empty, Admoji uses your Domain.

  1. Fill in the four required fields. The Connect Account button stays disabled until they are all filled.

  2. Click Connect Account. On success, Admoji shows ConvesioPay account connected. Please validate to continue. and fills in the API Key and Client Key fields for you.

Note: Connecting also registers Admoji's webhook in your ConvesioPay account and stores its signature key, so there is nothing to configure on the webhook side.
Important: To test against ConvesioPay's sandbox, turn on Live Test Mode — not Test Mode (Sandbox) — before you click Connect Account. Connecting, validating and charging use ConvesioPay's sandbox only while Live Test Mode is on.

If Admoji warns that This integration already exists in ConvesioPay, the Integration Name is already taken in your ConvesioPay account. Use a different name and connect again.

Step 3: Validate the Credentials

  1. Click Validate. Admoji checks the connection with ConvesioPay and, on success, shows Credentials successfully validated and closes the drawer.

Important: ConvesioPay credentials have to be validated before the processor can be saved. If you close the drawer without a successful validation, Admoji warns Please validate the gateway credentials.
Note: With Test Mode (Sandbox) on, Validate does not call ConvesioPay — the check is simulated inside Admoji and always succeeds.

Step 4: Complete the Processor Settings

  1. Enter a Processor Name on the General tab.

  1. Open the Settings tab and enter the MID Number and Currency — both are required.

  2. Leave External ID as it is. For ConvesioPay it holds the Client Key filled in by Connect Account, and changing it breaks the checkout component.

  3. Under Transaction Mode, choose Default (Sale) or Auth + Capture. ConvesioPay supports both.

  4. If you select Auth + Capture, optionally set Capture Delay (Days). Leave it empty to capture manually.

  5. Click Save.

Step 5: Assign the Processor to a Campaign

  1. Go to CRM > Campaigns and edit the campaign.

  2. Open the Processors tab.

  3. Select your processor under ConvesioPay Processor and save.
