The Projection Report provides comprehensive insights into scheduled recurring charges and their projected occurrence dates. This detailed forecasting tool helps you plan and anticipate future revenue streams by analyzing projected recurring billing performance.
Step 1: Access the Projection Report
Go to Reports.
Select Projection from the Reports dropdown menu.
Step 2: Configure Report Filters
Select the Campaign(s) that you want to query from the dropdown menu.
Choose the Processor(s) you want to include in your analysis.
Set your desired Start Date and End Date using the date picker controls.
Click Search to generate the report with your selected criteria.
Step 3: Review Results and Charts
There are two graphs that represent the Actual recurring vs. Projected recurrings.
The left graph represents the Projected recurring activity and projected refunds.
The graph on the right represents the Actual (current) recurring activity and actual refunds.
Review the comprehensive projection data table below the charts.
Step 4: Understanding the Projection Table
The table shows the number of Projected Recurring charges that are scheduled to run.
View Projected Approved, Projected Refunds, and Projected Settled numbers.
These projections are calculated based on historical transaction data and approval ratios.
Only Projected Recurring counts are hyperlinked and will display detailed data when clicked.
Step 5: View Detailed Transaction Data
Click the hyperlinked Projected Recurring numbers in the results table.
A popup modal will appear with all the transactions under that category.
Review the detailed transaction information including customer details and billing information.
All data within the popup window can be exported via a CSV file for external analysis.
Understanding Report Terms
Projected Recurrings: The number of recurring transactions that are scheduled to run, but haven't been processed yet.
Projected Approved: The number of recurring transactions that are projected to be approved based on transaction history.
Projected Refunds: The number of recurring transactions that are projected to be refunded based on transaction history.
Projected Settled: The number of recurring transactions approved minus all refunds.
